The beginning of the year has seen a series of events that brought people together to celebrate the cultures, cuisines, and communities of St Pauls, Bristol. The series included two Peace Feast events, sharing great food, live music and poetry, a cooking workshop, and a couple food and drink taster sessions.
Such a wonderful evening at St Pauls Learning Centre. With delicious food from local caterers, brilliant contributions from Sophie at Graft, Leeza Awojobi, Cllr Abdul Malik and Paulo, plus upbeat riffs from Tina Brown and the Jam Band Collective, it was a night to remember. A particular highlight was Glen (from Glen’s Kitchen) giving us an impromptu performance on the mic!
Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated the flavours, friendships and festivities of St Pauls, and to John Aguirre for organising and hosting!

Such a fantastic evening at Malcolm X Community Centre. With delicious food from local caterers, gripping storytelling from Ben Haggarty and the whole place reverberating with conversation, music and laughter, it was everything we love about St Pauls. Thanks to Graft for a graffiti history of the neighbourhood, to Leeza Awojobi for powerful poetry and to all our musicians, especially Tina Brown and the Jam Band Collective.
And of course, thanks to everyone who came and celebrated the flavours, friendships and festivities of St Pauls, and to John Aguirre for organising and hosting!

A Taste of St Pauls is being delivered by Bridges for Communities as part of the City Centre and High Streets Culture and Events Programme, funded by Bristol City Council and the West of England Combined Authority.
