Peace Feast Mini

A Peace Feast brings people together from different cultures and faiths, for food and friendship. With the current government guidelines, it’s not possible to meet up in large groups, so here at Bridges for Communities, we’re inviting people to host a ‘Peace Feast Mini,’ throughout July and August.

To take part, simply meet with a small group of people from another culture or faith, share some food and listen to one other’s stories. You might want to discuss how you are overcoming the challenges of this season, what the future might look like for you, and where you see opportunities for hope.

To honour the government guidelines, please make sure…

1. You either meet with one household, or stick to a maximum of 6 people if meeting with multiple households.

2. Maintain a social distance of at least one metre, (preferably two).

3. Follow government guidelines to stay safe when sharing food (or invite people to bring their own).

4. If possible, meet outside in a garden or park, or if it rains, look for a spacious room or café.

If you want to post a photo of your ‘Peace Feast Mini,’ use the hashtag #PeaceFeastMini and/or send your photos to so we can post them on our social media page and encourage people to catch the vision. Please include your first names, where you’re from and what you most enjoyed about your Peace Feast Mini.
